Shape and Base: The badge is a brushed silver shield finished with fine pinstripe rays that run the full height of the field, crowned by a smooth polished arc carrying POLICE in black block letters. The restrained frame keeps every eye on the center work.
Center Design: A large polished gold five-point star anchors the badge, set with a navy enamel seal medallion ringed STATE OF and TEXAS in gold around the lone star and wreath.
