Description
The Seymour Police Department serves the seat of Baylor County in the rolling plains of North Texas, southwest of Wichita Falls. Its officer badge is a silver oval built around a patriotic centerpiece, with an eagle settling onto a waving American flag above a small star disc.
Shape and Base: The badge is a silver oval that flares slightly at the shoulders, with fine sunburst rays fanning upward across the top half and sculpted leafwork running down both sides of the rim. OFFICER arches across the crown on a broad silver ribbon in bold black letters.
Center Design: A silver eagle with wings raised comes in to land at the center, its talons reaching for the flag below. The American flag sweeps the full width of the badge in enamel, with a blue field of white stars on the left and red and white stripes rippling to the right. A round silver disc with a five-point star and beaded ring sits where the eagle meets the flag.
Banner Lettering: SEYMOUR crosses a curved silver ribbon just below the flag, and POLICE follows on a squared silver panel beneath it, both in bold black block letters. A blank silver panel closes the base of the oval.
Tonal Detail: Silver carries the oval, rays, eagle, and every ribbon, and the flag supplies the only color — so the red, white, and blue band reads instantly as the heart of the design against an all-metal setting.
Finish Quality: Each badge is die-struck in solid metal, plated in polished silver, filled with red, white, and blue enamel at the flag and black enamel at the lettering, and fitted with a pin-back and safety clasp. For the county lawman from the same Baylor County courthouse, see the Baylor County Sheriff badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Badges bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named badges for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you put a full-color American flag across a badge like this Seymour design?
Yes. The flag is struck into the die with raised edges around the stars and waving stripes, then each area is filled with red, white, or blue enamel. The flag can run the full width as shown or sit in a smaller panel, and you approve it on a free proof before tooling.
Can the eagle be posed differently?
Yes. The eagle can be shown landing as it is here, perched with folded wings, or spread across the top as a crest. Its size and feather detail are sculpted into the die to match the layout you approve.
What does a badge like this cost?
Estimated pricing runs from about $150 each at low quantities down to roughly $50 each at higher volumes, with no setup fee and no mold fee. The eagle, enamel flag, star disc, and ribbons are all included in that range, confirmed with a free quote.
How long does production take?
Approximately 8 to 14 weeks after proof approval, covering die tooling, striking in solid metal, silver plating, the red, white, blue, and black enamel fills, and hand-finishing of the eagle and leafwork.
Can the blank panel at the base carry a badge number?
Yes. The base panel can be left blank, as shown, or struck with a badge number, a founding year, or the state name. The OFFICER ribbon can read any rank, and SEYMOUR and POLICE re-letter to your own city and agency.
Do we need credentials to order a badge with a real city name on it?
Yes. Badges bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. Fictional or fully customized designs with your own name are welcome without that step.
