Description
This Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the department’s shoulder emblem for the Texas Gulf Coast county whose seat is Port Lavaca, on Lavaca Bay. It layers a gold sheriff’s star, two light blue scrolls, and a full-color state seal on a dark brown shield.
Shape and Border: The patch is a shield with a flat top, gently curved shoulders, and sides that taper to a rounded point at the base, finished with a gold merrowed border around the brown field.
Center Design: A gold five-point star with ball tips stands behind the center. Over it sits a round seal with a red outer ring and a blue band lettered THE STATE OF TEXAS in white, with a row of small white stars along the bottom. Inside, a green wreath tied with a small red bow circles a white star on white.
Lettering: SHERIFF arches across the top in large gold block letters. CALHOUN is lettered in navy on a light blue scroll above the seal, and COUNTY sits on a matching scroll below it, both with curled ends that wrap behind the star points.
Color and Thread: Brown and gold give the patch a traditional sheriff’s look, while the light blue scrolls and the red, white, and blue seal add bright color at the center — a busy but well-balanced design.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For the metal version from the same department, see the Calhoun County Sheriff badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order a custom patch like this Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office design?

Yes. A name can be split across an upper and lower scroll, as CALHOUN and COUNTY are here, or set on a single banner. Scroll color, lettering, and curled ends are all adjustable on the proof.
Can you reproduce the state seal in full color?
Yes. The seal can be stitched in full color with its ring lettering, small stars, wreath, and center star, or simplified to fewer colors if you prefer a cleaner look.
What does a patch like this cost?
Estimated pricing runs from about $17 each at 10 pieces down to roughly $2 each at 1,000 pieces, with no setup fee. Size, stitch count, and quantity set the final price, which is confirmed with a free quote.
How long does production take?
Allow about three to six weeks after proof approval for digitizing, embroidery, merrowed edging, and backing.
Do I need credentials to order a Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office patch with the real agency name?
Yes. Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. Fictional or fully customized designs with your own name are welcome without that step.
