Description
This Carson County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the department’s shoulder emblem for the Texas Panhandle county just east of Amarillo, whose seat is the town of Panhandle. Unlike a shield patch, it is a round design built like a sheriff’s star badge, with a gold star and ring set on navy twill.
Shape and Border: The patch is a full circle with a navy merrowed edge around a deep navy field, so the gold star and ring stand out cleanly from edge to edge.
Center Design: A large gold five-point star with ball tips spans nearly the full width of the circle, its points reaching out past a wide gold ring. At the center sits a light blue disc with a gold star inside a green wreath, framed by two small gold tabs above and below.
Lettering: CARSON COUNTY arches across the top of the gold ring in navy block letters, and SHERIFF curves along the bottom of the ring. The small tabs around the center disc read STATE OF above and TEXAS below, also in navy.
Color and Thread: Navy and gold carry the design, with the light blue disc and green wreath adding a soft accent at the center — a bold, badge-like patch that reads clearly at a glance.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For a neighboring county design, see the Gray County Sheriff badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order a custom patch like this Carson County Sheriff’s Office design?
Yes. Owl Badges embroiders custom patches to match this Carson County Sheriff’s Office design, including the round star-and-ring layout, or adjusted to your own agency name, colors, and size. You receive a free digital proof before production begins.
Can a round patch be made to look like a star badge?
Yes. A star with ball tips can be set inside a lettered ring on a circular patch, so the shoulder patch echoes the look of the metal badge without needing a custom-cut shape.
Can the lettering on the ring be changed?
Yes. The top and bottom of the ring can carry any county, agency, or rank, and the small tabs around the center can read the state name, a motto, or a founding year.
What does a round patch like this cost?
Estimated pricing runs from about $17 each at 10 pieces down to roughly $2 each at 1,000 pieces, with no setup fee. Size, stitch count, and quantity set the final price, which is confirmed with a free quote.
How long does production take?
Allow about three to six weeks after proof approval for digitizing, embroidery, merrowed edging, and backing.
Do I need credentials to order a Carson County Sheriff’s Office patch with the real agency name?
Yes. Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. Fictional or fully customized designs with your own name are welcome without that step.
