Description
This Coleman County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the department’s shoulder emblem for the West Central Texas county whose seat is the city of Coleman, south of Abilene. It is a subdued tan design built around a Texas outline marked with the year 1858.
Shape and Border: The patch has a flat top and straight sides, with a jagged, irregular lower edge. The tan field is framed by an olive-green border along the top and sides and a navy border that follows the jagged bottom edge.
Center Design: An outline of Texas fills the middle of the patch in subdued tones. The western half is charcoal, the lower east is medium gray, and the upper east is white with a ragged top edge, set above a thin blue stripe. A white five-point star sits on the charcoal section with small letters spaced in a ring around it, and to the left of the state, a turquoise arrowhead carries a brown T.
Lettering: COLEMAN COUNTY runs across the top of the patch with a large SHERIFF beneath it, both in olive green with darker outlines, and the year 1858 is stitched in olive green on the white section of the state.
Color and Thread: Tan, olive, and gray keep the patch in a low-visibility subdued scheme, while the thin blue stripe, the white star, and the turquoise arrowhead add small accents of color.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a stitched border that follows the jagged edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For the metal version from the same department, see the Coleman County Sheriff badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order a custom patch like this Coleman County Sheriff’s Office design?
Yes. Owl Badges embroiders custom patches to match this Coleman County Sheriff’s Office design, including the subdued Texas outline marked 1858, or adjusted to your own agency name, colors, and size. You receive a free digital proof before production begins.
Can a patch be cut with an irregular edge like this one?
Yes. A patch can be cut to almost any outline, including a jagged edge like the bottom of this one. Shapes with sharp turns are finished with a stitched border that follows every angle, so the edge stays clean and holds up on a uniform.
Can the subdued colors be changed to full color?
Yes. The tan, olive, and gray scheme can be switched to full color, such as a red, white, and blue Texas outline, or kept subdued in different tones. The year, the star lettering, and the arrowhead emblem can all be changed or removed.
What does a sheriff patch like this cost?
Estimated pricing starts at about $17 each at 10 pieces and drops to roughly $2 each at 1,000 pieces, with no setup fee. Final pricing depends on size, stitch count, and quantity, and is confirmed with a free quote.
How long does production take for a patch like the Coleman County design?
Production typically takes about three to six weeks after proof approval, covering digitizing, embroidery, edge finishing, and backing. Your proof is confirmed before stitching starts.
Do I need credentials to order a Coleman County Sheriff’s Office patch with the real agency name?
Yes. Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. Fictional or fully customized designs with your own name are welcome without that step.
