Description
This Comanche County Sheriff’s Department patch recreates the department’s shoulder emblem for the Central Texas county whose seat is the city of Comanche, between Brownwood and Stephenville. It sets a headdress portrait over crossed U.S. and Texas flags on a black arrowhead-style shield.
Shape and Border: The patch is a black arrowhead-style shield with a flat top, angled shoulders, and sides that taper to a point at the base, finished with a gold merrowed border around the full edge.
Center Design: At the center is a left-facing profile of a Native American figure wearing a full feathered headdress. The feathers are red, white, and black-tipped and sweep out to the right, with a gold-and-red patterned browband and a single braid. Behind the figure, the U.S. flag extends to the left and the Texas flag to the right.
Lettering: COMANCHE CO. runs across the top of the shield in gold block letters, and SHERIFF’S and DEPT. are stacked below the portrait in matching gold.
Color and Thread: Gold lettering on black frames the design, while the red, white, and blue of the two flags and the red and white feathers of the headdress give the center its color.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For a neighboring county design, see the Eastland County Sheriff badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order a custom patch like this Comanche County Sheriff’s Department design?
Yes. Owl Badges embroiders custom patches to match this Comanche County Sheriff’s Department design, including the headdress portrait over crossed flags, or adjusted to your own agency name, colors, and size. You receive a free digital proof before production begins.
Is this the Comanche County in Texas, Oklahoma, or Kansas?
This design belongs to the Comanche County Sheriff’s Department in Texas, whose seat is the city of Comanche. The Texas flag on the right side of the patch reflects its home state.
Can a patch be cut in an arrowhead shape like this one?
Yes. A patch can be cut with a flat top, angled shoulders, and a pointed base like this arrowhead-style shield, and the merrowed border follows the outline so the edge stays clean on a uniform.
What does a sheriff patch like this cost?
Estimated pricing starts at about $17 each at 10 pieces and drops to roughly $2 each at 1,000 pieces, with no setup fee. Final pricing depends on size, stitch count, and quantity, and is confirmed with a free quote.
How long does production take for a patch like the Comanche County design?
Production typically takes about three to six weeks after proof approval, covering digitizing, embroidery, merrowed edging, and backing. Your proof is confirmed before stitching starts.
Do I need credentials to order a Comanche County Sheriff’s Department patch with the real agency name?
Yes. Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. Fictional or fully customized designs with your own name are welcome without that step.
