Description
This Falls County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the department’s shoulder emblem for the Central Texas county on the Brazos River whose seat is Marlin. Its center is a white cattle skull filled with a Texas flag map and hung with feathers, set above FALLS COUNTY banners and a STATE OF TEXAS seal on a gray shield.
Shape and Border: The patch is a light gray shield with a nearly flat top and rounded upper corners, and its sides taper to a point at the base. An orange-gold merrowed border runs around the full edge, with a black band just inside it.
Center Design: A white cattle skull with upturned horns sits in the upper middle of the shield, its face filled with a Texas map in flag colors with a white star on the blue. A pair of white feathers with dark tips hangs from each horn, and a tan sun symbol with rays in four groups rises above the skull. Below, a round seal with a red ring circles a blue disc and a white five-point star.
Lettering: SHERIFF arches across the top in black serif letters. Two light blue ribbon banners below the skull read FALLS and COUNTY in black, and the red ring of the seal reads STATE OF over the top and TEXAS along the bottom in gold.
Color and Thread: Gray, black, and orange-gold frame the patch, while the red, white, and blue of the skull’s Texas map and the seal, the light blue banners, and the tan sun add color down the center.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For a department in the same county, see the Falls County Constable badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order a custom patch like this Falls County Sheriff’s Office design?
Yes. Owl Badges embroiders custom patches to match this Falls County Sheriff’s Office design, including the cattle skull with the Texas flag map, or adjusted to your own agency name, colors, and size. You receive a free digital proof before production begins.
Can a flag design be stitched inside another shape?
Yes. A flag or flag-colored map can be stitched inside a larger shape, as the Texas map is inside the skull here, so two symbols combine into a single focal point.
Can ribbon banners be used for the county name?
Yes. The county name can be split across stacked ribbon banners, as FALLS and COUNTY are here, which gives each word its own space and adds a contrasting color between the emblem and the seal.
What does a sheriff patch like this cost?
Estimated pricing starts at about $17 each at 10 pieces and drops to roughly $2 each at 1,000 pieces, with no setup fee. Final pricing depends on size, stitch count, and quantity, and is confirmed with a free quote.
How long does production take for a patch like the Falls County design?
Production typically takes about three to six weeks after proof approval, covering digitizing, embroidery, merrowed edging, and backing. Your proof is confirmed before stitching starts.
Do I need credentials to order a Falls County Sheriff’s Office patch with the real agency name?
Yes. Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. Fictional or fully customized designs with your own name are welcome without that step.
