Description
This Lee County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the office’s shoulder emblem for the county whose seat is Giddings. Founded in 1874 and named for Robert E. Lee, the county carries that year on the star at the center of this black shield as EST. 1874.
Shape and Border: The patch is a shield with an arched top, straight sides, and a rounded base, finished with a gold merrowed border.
Center Design: A Texas map in the colors of the state flag, blue on the west and white over red on the east, is outlined in white on the black field. A gold seven-point star with ball tips sits over the map. At its center, a black ring reads THE STATE OF TEXAS in white around a blue disc with a white star and green oak and olive branches, with EST. above the ring and 1874 below it in black.
Lettering: SHERIFF arches across the top in large gold slab-serif letters, with LEE COUNTY in white serif letters beneath it. Gold banners across the star read SHERIFF’S and OFFICE in black, and TEXAS runs across the base in white.
Color and Thread: Gold, black, white, red, and blue, with green in the seal, give the patch a full-color look that still reads clearly against the black twill.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For a department in the same county, see the Giddings Police badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order a custom patch like this Lee County Sheriff’s Office design?
Yes. Owl Badges embroiders custom patches to match this Lee County Sheriff’s Office design, including the gold seven-point star, tricolor Texas map, and large SHERIFF title, or adjusted to your own agency name, colors, and size. You receive a free digital proof before production begins.
Is this the Lee County in Texas or in Florida?
This is Lee County, Texas, whose county seat is Giddings. TEXAS is stitched across the base of the patch, and the EST. 1874 date on the star matches the year the Texas county was founded.
Can SHERIFF be stitched much larger than the county name?
Yes. Letter sizes can set the order of the words, as SHERIFF is stitched here in large gold slab-serif letters across the top, with LEE COUNTY smaller in white beneath it.
What does a sheriff patch like this cost?
Estimated pricing starts at about $17 each at 10 pieces and drops to roughly $2 each at 1,000 pieces, with no setup fee. Final pricing depends on size, stitch count, and quantity, and is confirmed with a free quote.
How long does production take for a patch like the Lee County design?
Production typically takes about three to six weeks after proof approval, covering digitizing, embroidery, merrowed edging, and backing. Your proof is confirmed before stitching starts.
Do I need credentials to order a Lee County Sheriff’s Office patch with the real agency name?
Yes. Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. Fictional or fully customized designs with your own name are welcome without that step.
