Description
This Oldham County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the office’s shoulder emblem for the county whose seat is Vega. Created in 1876 and organized in 1881, the county is named for Williamson Simpson Oldham Sr., a Texas pioneer and Confederate senator. A faceted gold star over a gray Texas map fills the center of this black shield.
Shape and Border: The patch is a shield with an arched top and sloping shoulders that taper to a point at the base, finished with a black merrowed edge and a thin silver-gray inner border.
Center Design: A large faceted gold five-point star, stitched in two shades of gold, sits over a solid gray Texas map that fills much of the lower field.
Lettering: SHERIFF arches across the top in large white block letters, and a red ribbon scroll with swallowtail ends reads OLDHAM COUNTY in white serif letters just below.
Color and Thread: The red scroll and gold star stand out against the black twill, while the gray map and white lettering keep the rest of the palette cool and clean.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For a department in a neighboring county, see the Deaf Smith County Sheriff badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
