Description
This Parmer County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the office’s shoulder emblem for the county whose seat is Farwell, on the Texas–New Mexico line. Created in 1876 and organized in 1907, the county is named for Martin Parmer, a signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence. A gold ball-tip star set over a gold outline of the Texas map fills the center of this black shield.
Shape and Border: The patch is a classic shield with a gently arched top and sides that curve to a point at the base, finished with a gold merrowed edge.
Center Design: A gold five-point star with ball tips sits over a Texas map stitched as a single gold outline. At the star’s center, a red ring surrounds a blue disc holding a white star in a white wreath, and a plain gold banner crosses the lower star beneath it.
Lettering: SHERIFF’S arches across the top and OFFICE curves across the bottom in large gold block letters. The star reads PARMER above its center and COUNTY below in black, with a small black star on each side, and STATE OF TEXAS circles the red ring in white.
Color and Thread: Gold thread carries the star, map outline, lettering, and border against the black background, while the red, white, and blue center adds the only accent color.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For a department in a neighboring county, see the Bailey County Sheriff badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order a custom patch like this Parmer County Sheriff’s Office design?
Yes. Owl Badges embroiders custom patches to match this Parmer County Sheriff’s Office design, including the gold Texas map outline, ball-tip star, and STATE OF TEXAS center, or adjusted to your own agency name, colors, and size. You receive a free digital proof before production begins.
Can a Texas map be stitched as an outline instead of a solid fill?
Yes. On this design the map is a single line of gold thread on the black background, so the state shape still reads clearly while the gold star stays the focal point.
Is Farwell in Parmer County?
Yes. Farwell is the county seat of Parmer County and sits on the New Mexico state line across from Texico. It is named for the Farwell brothers, who built the Texas State Capitol in exchange for ranchland, while Friona is the county’s largest city.
What does a sheriff patch like this cost?
Estimated pricing starts at about $17 each at 10 pieces and drops to roughly $2 each at 1,000 pieces, with no setup fee. Final pricing depends on size, stitch count, and quantity, and is confirmed with a free quote.
How long does production take for a patch like the Parmer County design?
Production typically takes about three to six weeks after proof approval, covering digitizing, embroidery, merrowed edging, and backing. Your proof is confirmed before stitching starts.
Do I need credentials to order a Parmer County Sheriff’s Office patch with the real agency name?
Yes. Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. Fictional or fully customized designs with your own name are welcome without that step.
