Description
This Polk County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the office’s shoulder emblem for the county whose seat is Livingston. Created in 1846 from Liberty County by the first Texas Legislature, the county is named for President James K. Polk. A gold star with a maroon STATE OF TEXAS seal, set between crossed U.S. and Texas flags, fills the center of this dark green shield.
Shape and Border: The patch is a shield with a rounded top and sides that taper to a point at the base, finished with a gold merrowed edge.
Center Design: A gold five-point star with ball tips stands in front of a gold ring, its points reaching past the ring’s edge. The U.S. flag on the left and the Texas flag on the right cross behind the star on gold staffs.
Lettering: SHERIFF’S OFFICE arches across the top and POLK COUNTY curves across the bottom in gold block letters. At the star’s center, STATE OF TEXAS circles a maroon ring in gold around a blue disc with a white star.
Color and Thread: The gold star, ring, lettering, and border stand out against the dark green background, while the red, white, and blue flags and the maroon seal add color to the center.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For a department in the same county, see the Corrigan Police badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.

Can a patch pair a dark green background with gold lettering and border?

Is this the Polk County in Texas or in Florida?

What does a sheriff patch like this cost?
Estimated pricing starts at about $17 each at 10 pieces and drops to roughly $2 each at 1,000 pieces, with no setup fee. Final pricing depends on size, stitch count, and quantity, and is confirmed with a free quote.

Production typically takes about three to six weeks after proof approval, covering digitizing, embroidery, merrowed edging, and backing. Your proof is confirmed before stitching starts.
Do I need credentials to order a Polk County Sheriff’s Office patch with the real agency name?
Yes. Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. Fictional or fully customized designs with your own name are welcome without that step.
