Description
This Scurry County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the office’s shoulder emblem for the county whose seat is Snyder, home of Western Texas College. Created in 1876 and organized in 1884, the county is named for William Read Scurry, a lawyer and Confederate general. A tan ball-tip star with pale blue scrolls and a red-edged navy seal fills the center of this dark brown shield.
Shape and Border: The patch is a shield with an arched top, rounded upper corners, and sides that curve down to a rounded base, finished with a tan-gold merrowed edge.
Center Design: A tan-gold five-point star with ball tips fills the middle of the shield. Pale blue scroll banners cross its upper arms and lower points, and at its center a navy ring trimmed in red surrounds a light blue disc holding a gold star in a green wreath tied with a small red bow.
Lettering: SHERIFF arches across the top in large tan block letters, with SCURRY and COUNTY set in smaller tan letters on either side of the star’s top point. The scrolls read SHERIFF’S and OFFICE in navy, and THE STATE OF TEXAS circles the seal in white above three small white stars.
Color and Thread: Tan on dark brown gives the patch a warm, traditional look, while the pale blue scrolls and the navy, red, and green seal add cool color at the center.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For a department in a neighboring county, see the Borden County Sheriff badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
