The Rockdale Police Department serves a city in southern Milam County, northeast of Austin along the US 79 corridor in Central Texas. Its officer badge is a seven-point star in silver and black enamel, carrying a gold center disc lettered for the department and built around the state seal.
Shape and Base: The badge is a seven-point star with polished silver edges and each point filled in black enamel. A silver leaf filigree sprig is struck inside every point, and OFFICER crosses the top of the center on a gold ribbon in black block letters.
