Description
This Beaverhead County embroidered patch was custom designed for the Beaverhead County Sheriff’s Department in Dillon, Montana, featuring a classic shield silhouette anchored by a six-point gold sheriff’s star and a detailed Montana landscape scene celebrating the rugged terrain of southwest Montana.
Shape & Base: Traditional law enforcement shield with curved shoulders and a pointed bottom, built on a solid black twill base and finished with a bright gold merrowed border that frames the entire patch and reinforces the official authority of the design.
Top Section: “SHERIFF’S DEPT.” arches across the upper shield in bold gold block lettering with a subtle drop-shadow effect, positioned cleanly above the central emblem and serving as the primary identifier of the patch.
Center: A six-point gold sheriff’s star dominates the middle of the shield, with each point capped by a small gold ball. Inside the star sits a circular landscape vignette showing snow-capped mountains, a rising yellow sun with radiating rays, a flowing river or waterfall cutting through the scene, and a green valley in the foreground — a visual nod to the Pioneer Mountains and Beaverhead River country that defines the region.
