The North Richland Hills Police Department serves one of the Mid-Cities of northeast Tarrant County, a suburb of more than seventy thousand residents between Fort Worth and DFW Airport, bordered by Haltom City, Keller, and Hurst. Its officer badge carries the city the way residents say it: NRH, set in bold black letters across the face of a silver star.
Shape and Base: The badge is a silver oval rimmed with small raised studs and pinstripe rays at the flanks. A gold OFFICER band arcs the crown in black letters, with a gold filigree scroll curling beneath it.
Center Design: A gunmetal disc ringed in gold fills the heart of the badge, lettered NORTH RICHLAND across the top and HILLS across the bottom in gold.
