The Round Rock Police Department serves a large and fast-growing city in Williamson County, just north of Austin along the Interstate 35 corridor. Its officer badge rings a gold star in blue enamel, with the city name set in that ring and the lettering EST. 1851 carried on the tails of the top ribbon.
Shape and Base: The badge is a silver oval with a raised rim, small crossed studs set around its edge, and fine rays fanning across its face. POLICE OFFICER arches across the top on a broad gold ribbon in black serif letters, and its folded tails carry EST. on one side and 1851 on the other.
