Description
This Kleberg County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the department’s shoulder emblem for the South Texas Gulf Coast county whose seat and largest city is Kingsville. Organized in 1913 and named for early Texas settler Robert J. Kleberg, the county lies mostly within the King Ranch, with Baffin Bay along much of its southern line. A gold star with a red center disc sits on a royal blue shield.
Shape and Border: The patch is a shield with a flat top and rounded upper corners, and its curved sides meet in a point at the base. A gold merrowed border runs around the full edge.
Center Design: A gold five-point star with ball tips fills the middle of the shield. At its center, a red disc forms a ring around a smaller blue disc, where a white star sits inside two green branches.
Lettering: KLEBERG COUNTY arches across the top in gold block letters, and SHERIFF DEPT. arches along the base in gold. The red disc reads STATE OF TEXAS in royal blue.
Color and Thread: Gold on royal blue gives the patch a bright, classic look, with the red disc, white star, and green branches adding color at the center of the star.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For a neighboring county design, see the Jim Wells County Sheriff patch.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order a custom patch like this Kleberg County Sheriff’s Office design?
Yes. Owl Badges embroiders custom patches to match this Kleberg County Sheriff’s Office design, including the gold star with its red STATE OF TEXAS disc, or adjusted to your own agency name, colors, and size. You receive a free digital proof before production begins.
Can seal lettering be stitched in blue on a red ring?
Yes. Lettering can take a contrasting color from the ring around it, as STATE OF TEXAS is stitched in royal blue on the red center disc here, matching the blue of the field.
Can the patch read SHERIFF DEPT. instead of SHERIFF’S OFFICE?
Yes. The wording follows each agency, as this patch arches SHERIFF DEPT. along the base in gold, under the star and opposite KLEBERG COUNTY at the top.
What does a sheriff patch like this cost?
Estimated pricing starts at about $17 each at 10 pieces and drops to roughly $2 each at 1,000 pieces, with no setup fee. Final pricing depends on size, stitch count, and quantity, and is confirmed with a free quote.
How long does production take for a patch like the Kleberg County design?
Production typically takes about three to six weeks after proof approval, covering digitizing, embroidery, merrowed edging, and backing. Your proof is confirmed before stitching starts.
Do I need credentials to order a Kleberg County Sheriff’s Office patch with the real agency name?
Yes. Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. Fictional or fully customized designs with your own name are welcome without that step.
