Description
This Limestone County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the office’s shoulder emblem for the county whose seat is Groesbeck. Formed from Robertson County and organized in 1846, the county counts Mexia as its largest city. A crosshatched gold star over green leaves fills the center of this pinkish tan shield.
Shape and Border: The patch is a shield with an arched top and a pointed base, edged with a gold merrowed border around a navy blue inner band.
Center Design: A gold five-point star with ball tips is crosshatched with navy lattice lines and outlined in navy. A spray of green leaves spreads behind it, and at its center a navy ring surrounds a green wreath with a white star.
Lettering: SHERIFF runs across the top in navy block letters. LIMESTONE COUNTY follows a U-shaped arc down the left side, under the star, and up the right side, with TEXAS set across the base. The center ring reads STATE OF TEXAS in white.
Color and Thread: Navy, gold, and green stand out against the soft pinkish tan field, giving the patch a warm and uncommon background color.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For a department in the same county, see the Groesbeck Police badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order a custom patch like this Limestone County Sheriff’s Office design?
Yes. Owl Badges embroiders custom patches to match this Limestone County Sheriff’s Office design, including the crosshatched gold star, green leaf spray, and pinkish tan field, or adjusted to your own agency name, colors, and size. You receive a free digital proof before production begins.
Can a star be stitched with a crosshatched lattice pattern?
Yes. Thin lines can be stitched over a star’s fill to add texture, as navy crosshatching runs across each gold point here, inside a navy outline with ball tips.
Can the county name curve around the lower half of the star?
Yes. Lettering can follow the shape of the shield, as LIMESTONE COUNTY runs in a U-shaped arc down the left side, under the star, and up the right side, with TEXAS set straight below it.
What does a sheriff patch like this cost?
Estimated pricing starts at about $17 each at 10 pieces and drops to roughly $2 each at 1,000 pieces, with no setup fee. Final pricing depends on size, stitch count, and quantity, and is confirmed with a free quote.
How long does production take for a patch like the Limestone County design?
Production typically takes about three to six weeks after proof approval, covering digitizing, embroidery, merrowed edging, and backing. Your proof is confirmed before stitching starts.
Do I need credentials to order a Limestone County Sheriff’s Office patch with the real agency name?
Yes. Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. Fictional or fully customized designs with your own name are welcome without that step.
