Description
This Freestone County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the department’s shoulder emblem for the East Central Texas county whose seat is Fairfield. Crossed U.S. and Texas flags rise above a navy diamond marked EST. 1850 on a bright blue shield trimmed in navy and white.
Shape and Border: The patch is a bright blue shield with an arched top and rounded upper corners, and its sides taper to a point at the base. A navy merrowed border runs around the full edge, with a thin white line just inside it.
Center Design: A U.S. flag on the left and a Texas flag on the right fly from crossed poles near the top of the shield. Below them sits a large navy diamond with a jagged upper right edge, outlined in white, and a small navy outline of Texas with a red star inside sits near the base.
Lettering: SHERIFF arches across the top in large navy block letters outlined in white. FREESTONE runs down the left side and COUNTY TX runs up the right side in white block letters, and EST. and 1850 are stitched in white on two lines inside the diamond.
Color and Thread: Bright blue, navy, and white set a cool base, while the red in both flags and the red star in the small Texas outline add warm accents.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For a department in the same county, see the Freestone County Constable badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order a custom patch like this Freestone County Sheriff’s Office design?
Yes. Owl Badges embroiders custom patches to match this Freestone County Sheriff’s Office design, including the crossed U.S. and Texas flags above the EST. 1850 diamond, or adjusted to your own agency name, colors, and size. You receive a free digital proof before production begins.
Can lettering run down the sides of a patch instead of across it?
Yes. Lettering can be stitched vertically along the sides of a shield, as FREESTONE runs down the left and COUNTY TX runs up the right here, which leaves the center open for the flags and the diamond.
Can a small Texas outline with a star be added near the base?
Yes. A small state outline can be stitched near the base of the patch with a colored star inside, as the navy Texas shape with a red star is here, adding a state marker without crowding the main design.
What does a sheriff patch like this cost?
Estimated pricing starts at about $17 each at 10 pieces and drops to roughly $2 each at 1,000 pieces, with no setup fee. Final pricing depends on size, stitch count, and quantity, and is confirmed with a free quote.
How long does production take for a patch like the Freestone County design?
Production typically takes about three to six weeks after proof approval, covering digitizing, embroidery, merrowed edging, and backing. Your proof is confirmed before stitching starts.
Do I need credentials to order a Freestone County Sheriff’s Office patch with the real agency name?
Yes. Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. Fictional or fully customized designs with your own name are welcome without that step.
