Sheriff Canine Patch — Order This Starburst Handcuffs Design
Design S0454A at a glance
A shepherd's head front-and-center on a silver starburst, with a pair of stitched handcuffs hung at the base — apprehension work, stated plainly. 'Urban Canine Squad' style arcs frame it. The cuffs are what set this apart from gentler K9 patches: this is the patch for dual-purpose dogs. Your dog's head replaces the generic shepherd from photos.

About this starburst canine design
K9 patches run a spectrum from kennel-club soft to full tactical, and this one sits deliberately toward the working end: the handcuffs at the base name the apprehension mission the way a bite-sleeve photo would, but in uniform-appropriate heraldry. The starburst frame throws the dog's head forward, and silver-on-navy keeps it formal for an animal with a sworn job.
Handlers put their actual partner's head in the burst (two photos suffice) and the squad name in the arcs; patrol-only teams drop the cuffs for a paw or badge. This page shows a design concept we manufacture to order — proof in 6–12 hours, production strictly after approval.

Sheriff canine patch questions
Can our dog's face replace the generic shepherd?
Yes — two photos, front and three-quarter, and we redraw the head markings-true at no art charge. The handler approves the likeness on the mockup.
Are the handcuffs removable from the design?
Yes — detection and demo teams regularly swap them for a paw print or the office badge. Free change, shown on your proof.
What goes in the arcs?
Office name up top, squad designation below — 'K-9 UNIT', 'URBAN CANINE SQUAD', or your local usage. About 26 characters per arc at 4 inches.
Can we make a retirement version when a dog ends service?
Yes — name and service years replace the arc text. Ten pieces covers handler, office and shadow boxes at the $20.00 tier.
How do photos and wording get to you?
Attach photos in the quote form and type arc wording in the markup tool — the 4-hour mockup returns with your dog drawn and your words set.
Tracking toward other designs?
