Sheriff Special Patrol Patch — Order This Bighorn Star Badge
Design S0798A at a glance
A star-and-badge outline edged in navy, carrying a bighorn ram on a rock with mountains in grey and gold. Six lettering lines surround the scene: county name, sheriff's department, founding year, a short motto, a region name and the special patrol designation. The ram gives a backcountry unit an emblem with real presence, and every line rewords to your office.

About this bighorn ram special patrol star
Bighorn sheep live on terrain most vehicles cannot reach, which is why backcountry and mountain patrol units keep choosing them as mascots. This star badge sets the ram on a rock with mountains around it, rendered in grey and gold with navy framing — a palette that stays readable on tan and khaki sheriff uniforms as well as dark outerwear.
Reword the six lines to your office and unit, set your founding year, or reshape the mountains to your own range. Prefer a different animal? The ram can become an elk, a cougar or a hawk on the same rock. This page shows a design concept we manufacture to order — your stitch-ready proof arrives 6–12 hours after you order, and nothing is produced until you approve it.

Sheriff special patrol patch questions
Can the bighorn ram be swapped for another animal?
Yes. An elk, cougar, hawk or any local species can take the ram's place on the rock — send a reference photo and we redraw it at no charge.
Will six lines of lettering fit at shoulder size?
Yes, at 4 inches and up. For hat-size versions we drop to the department name and unit line on proof.
Can the mountains match our own range?
Yes. A skyline photo is enough for us to reshape the peaks behind the ram.
Is there a subdued version for field gear?
Yes. Tan and OD green subdued builds work well because the ram silhouette is bold. Preview them in the markup tool.
How do I mark up changes?
Circle the ram or any line in the markup tool inside the quote form and pin your notes. The marked-up design attaches to your quote.
