Sheriff K9 Star Patch — Order This Bison and Mountains Design
Design S0923A at a glance
A gold-edged sheriff star in navy, gold and gray, with a bison before a mountain range as its emblem. The lettering holds an office name, the sheriff title, an established year and a K-9 unit line. A bison is an unexpected K9 emblem — no dog on the patch — and that's exactly why mountain-country units order it: it speaks to the territory, not just the dog.

About this bison and mountains K9 star
Most K9 patches put a dog front and center. This star takes a different route: a bison before the mountains, with the K9 unit named in the lettering. The result reads as a high-country sheriff's office first and a canine unit second, which suits teams that want their insignia to match the office's look rather than stand apart from it.
Customize it with your office name and year, set your unit's title on the K9 line, and add your own dog alongside the bison — or swap the bison for your county animal. This page shows a design concept we manufacture to order — your stitch-ready proof arrives 6–12 hours after you order, and nothing is produced until you approve it.

Sheriff K9 star patch questions
Can we add our dog to the patch?
Yes. Send a photo of your K9 and we can add its head beside the bison or replace the bison entirely, at no art charge.
Can the mountains match our local range?
Yes. Send a photo of your skyline and we redraw the range behind the bison.
Will the star points stay crisp?
Yes. A hot-cut edge is sealed as the patch is cut, so the star's points hold their shape wash after wash.

How do I mark up changes?
Use the "mark up this design" tool in the quote form to circle the bison, pin notes on the lettering and attach your K9 photo. The marked-up version goes with your quote.
