K9 Tracking Patch — Order This Paw and Signal Wave Diamond
Design S1266A at a glance
A diamond with a navy merrowed edge, built around a paw print with K9 lettering and signal waves radiating out from it. Three lettering lines carry the department name, a K9 line and a tracking unit line. Light blue, navy and white keep the paw and waves high-contrast — easy to pick out on a handler's vest from across a search area.

About this paw print and signal wave K9 tracking diamond
Tracking teams work with scent, GPS collars and radio, and the signal waves around this paw print nod to the tech side of the job without cluttering the patch. The diamond shape sets K9 apart from the department's patrol shoulder patch, and a three-color palette of light blue, navy and white keeps the embroidery clean even at handler-vest size.
Make it yours: put your department on the top line, rename the unit line for search, detection or trailing work, or add the dog's name as a small bottom tab. This page shows a design concept we manufacture to order — your stitch-ready proof arrives 6–12 hours after you order, and nothing is produced until you approve it.

K9 tracking patch questions
Can the unit line say detection or search instead of tracking?
Yes. Every lettering line restitches to your wording — department, K9 line and unit specialty — and your 4-hour mockup shows the exact text.
Can we order small patches for the dogs' harnesses?
Yes. Order 2- to 3-inch velcro-backed versions in the same quote; they price at the combined quantity tier with the handler patches.
Is a subdued version available for tactical vests?
Yes. The diamond converts to tan, OD green, wolf gray or blackout with the paw and waves in a single contrast thread. Preview each in the markup tool.
Will the signal waves stay sharp at small sizes?
At 3 inches and up they stitch as clean arcs. Below that we thicken the lines slightly on the proof so they don't fill in, and you approve it first.
How do I request changes to the diamond?
Open the markup tool in the quote form, circle the paw or waves, pin numbered notes and switch colorways. Your edits attach to the quote automatically.
Need a different police unit design?
This page covers one tracking diamond. For patrol shields, traffic stars and specialty unit layouts, the police unit patches that sit beside this paw-and-signal tracking diamond shows every shape departments order.
