Drug Interdiction K9 Patch — Order This Shepherd & Rockers Design
Design S1454A at a glance
A custom-cut patch in maroon, gold, tan and brown, with a German shepherd head framed by a top rocker and a bottom rocker. The rockers carry the unit name and the assignment — police K9 on one side, drug interdiction on the other — and the merrowed maroon edge ties the three pieces into a single outline that sits neatly on a sleeve or vest.

About this German shepherd interdiction rocker design
Rocker layouts come from military tabs, and K9 teams like them because the dog gets the whole center. This shepherd head is stitched in tan and brown against maroon, with gold lettering arcing above and below so the eye lands on the dog first. Building the rockers into one die-cut outline means a single patch instead of three separate pieces to sew.
Design your own version: put your department in the top rocker and your assignment in the bottom one, redraw the shepherd as your own dog, or switch to a subdued tan-and-brown version for plainclothes interdiction work. This page shows a design concept we manufacture to order — your stitch-ready proof arrives 6–12 hours after you order, and nothing is produced until you approve it.

Drug interdiction K9 patch questions
Can the rockers carry our department and assignment?
Yes. The top and bottom rockers both restitch to any wording, and the proof shows the curve and letter spacing before production.
Is the rocker outline one piece or three?
One piece. The rockers and the center panel are cut as a single outline with a continuous merrowed edge.
Can you redraw a Malinois instead of a shepherd?
Yes. Send a photo of your dog and we redraw the head in its own breed and markings at no art charge.
What does a subdued version look like?
Tan, brown and coyote thread on a tan field keeps the shepherd readable while losing the maroon. Preview it in the markup tool.
How do I flag changes on this patch?
In the quote form, open the markup tool and mark the rockers or the dog, add numbered notes and pick a colorway. Your notes attach to the quote and are confirmed on the mockup.
Need another police patch, or the full catalog?
