Police K9 Shepherd Patch — Order This Tan-Edged K9 Unit Round Design
Design S1616A at a glance
A tan-edged round with a German shepherd head stitched in a green, tan and brown palette. Two lettering lines carry a department and K-9 unit name and a since-year, leaving the dog as the clear focal point. It is a pared-back K9 layout — one image, two lines of text, three thread colors — that reads instantly on a sleeve.

About this German shepherd K9 unit round
Simple K9 patches age well. This one keeps to a single image and two short text lines, so the shepherd head reads instantly from across a parking lot or a training field. Green, tan and brown suit handlers who work outdoors, and the tan merrowed edge softens the outline so the patch looks at home on both a duty shirt and a canvas jacket.
Order it with your department name and K9 callout in the top line, your unit's start year below, and the shepherd redrawn as your own Malinois, Dutch shepherd or Labrador if you prefer. This page shows a design concept we manufacture to order — your stitch-ready proof arrives 6–12 hours after you order, and nothing is produced until you approve it.

Police K9 shepherd patch questions
Can you put our dog's name on the patch?
Yes. Many units add the dog's name under the head or in place of the since-year line. The proof shows the wording at actual size.
Can the shepherd be changed to a Malinois?
Yes. Send a photo and we redraw the head as a Belgian Malinois, Dutch shepherd, Labrador or any breed you work, at no art charge.
How small can this round be made?
Down to 2.5 inches across. At that size we may slightly thicken the lettering on the proof so it stays readable.
Do you make matching patches for the dog's vest?
Yes. A smaller velcro-backed version for the dog's vest can be added to the same quote, using the same art.
How do I tell you what to change?
Use the markup tool in the quote form to circle the head, pin a note with your dog's breed and add your wording. The marked-up round goes along with your quote.
