Police K9 Shepherd Star Patch — Order This Navy Badge Design
Design S1688A at a glance
A navy badge-cut patch with a white merrowed edge, featuring a German shepherd head with a star in gold, white and grey. Lettering carries the department name, a K9 unit line, a founding year and a motto. The white border makes the badge outline crisp on dark uniforms, and the dog can be redrawn to look like your own partner.

About this police K9 shepherd and star design
The German shepherd remains the archetypal police dog, and a portrait like this one is the most direct way to put it on a sleeve. The star ties the dog to the badge, so the patch reads as a sworn unit rather than a pet club. Navy, gold and white keep it in line with standard patrol colors, so handlers can wear it alongside the department shoulder patch.
Order it with your department name, unit line and founding year, or send a photo of your own dog and we will redraw the head to match its markings. This page shows a design concept we manufacture to order — your stitch-ready proof arrives 6–12 hours after you order, and nothing is produced until you approve it.

Police K9 shepherd star patch questions
Can the dog look like our own K9?
Yes. Send a clear photo of your dog and we redraw the markings, ear shape and coat color stitch-ready at no art charge.
Can we order small patches for the dog vest?
Yes. Harness and vest patches usually run 2 to 3 inches, and they can be added to the same order as the handler patches.
Can the motto and founding year change?
Yes. Every lettering line restitches to your wording, and lines can be dropped if you want a cleaner layout.
Is a subdued K9 version available?
Yes. OD green, black and grey or tan versions stitch on matching twill, with the dog in a single contrast thread.
How can I request changes?
In the quote form, the markup tool lets you circle the dog, pin notes on lettering and change colors; the marked version is attached automatically.
