Red K9 Police Patch — Order This Two-Color Shepherd and Bolt Scroll
Design S1783A at a glance
A scroll cut edged in red, with a black field and a German shepherd head rendered in red and black alongside a leash and lightning bolt. Two lines of lettering carry a K9 unit name and a response line. Stripped to two colors, it reads as a bold graphic mark rather than a shaded portrait.

About this two-color shepherd and bolt scroll
Two colors is all this design needs. With the shepherd, leash and bolt all worked in red against black, the patch reads like a sharp graphic mark from across a parking lot, and it holds up well on small harness panels where fine shading would blur. Units that want a lean, aggressive look tend to prefer it over shaded K9 designs.
Order it as shown or tweak it: your unit name in the first line, a new title in the second, or the red swapped for gold, blue or your department color. This page shows a design concept we manufacture to order — your stitch-ready proof arrives 6–12 hours after you order, and nothing is produced until you approve it.

Who orders this design
Patrol K9 squads, tactical canine teams and K9 booster groups order this two-color scroll for shirts, harness panels and fundraising sales. The low color count makes it a favorite for larger runs where per-patch price matters. Many teams order it alongside a matching PVC version for crates and vehicles.

Red K9 police patch questions
Why choose the two-color version?
Fewer thread colors mean a bolder silhouette and a cleaner result at small sizes. It is a good fit for harness panels and caps.
Can we change red to our department color?
Yes. Swap the red for gold, blue, green or any thread color — preview it in the markup tool before you request a quote.
Can both lettering lines change?
Yes. The unit name and the second line both restitch to your wording.
Will it fit a dog harness?
At 3 inches wide with hook-side velcro it fits most harness loop panels. We size the lettering on the proof so it stays readable.
Can we get PVC patches of the same design?
Yes. The art converts to molded PVC, and both embroidered and PVC builds can go on a single quote.
