Description
This Shelby County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the office’s shoulder emblem for the far East Texas county whose seat is Center. Organized as a county in 1837, it is named for Isaac Shelby, a soldier in the American Revolution who later became governor of Kentucky. A silver star badge over a flag-colored Texas map fills the center of this black shield.
Shape and Border: The patch is a shield with an arched top, angled upper corners, and straight sides that curve down to a rounded base, finished with a silver-gray merrowed edge.
Center Design: A Texas map in flag colors, outlined in white, fills the middle of the shield, with blue across the west and the Panhandle, white across the upper east, and red across the lower east. Over it sits a silver five-point star with ball tips, carrying gray banners across its upper arms and lower points and a gray center ring around a light blue disc with a gold star.
Lettering: SHELBY COUNTY arches across the top in gold block letters, and SHERIFF runs across the bottom in large gold block letters. The banners read SHERIFF’S and OFFICE in black, and SHELBY and COUNTY circle the center ring in black, with a small black star on each side.
Color and Thread: Gold lettering and the silver-gray edge stand out on the black background, while the red, white, and blue map and the gold star at the badge’s center add color.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For a department in a neighboring county, see the Panola County Constable badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
