Malinois K9 Squad Patch — Order This Harnessed Dog and Crossed Keys Oval
Design S1538A at a glance
A black oval with a silver merrowed edge, centered on a Belgian Malinois wearing a working harness, set against a star with crossed keys behind it and a paw print below. Brown thread gives the dog its fawn-and-black coat while silver carries the star and keys. The lettering — a squad name, a bold K9 mark and two short motto lines — frames the dog without crowding it.

About this harnessed Malinois and crossed keys oval
Handlers can tell a Malinois from a shepherd at fifty yards, so a K9 patch that gets the breed right earns instant credibility on the squad. This design does: the lean head, the dark mask and the working harness are all there. The star and crossed keys behind the dog tie it back to the department, and the paw print keeps the canine theme readable even at 3 inches.
Customize it before it stitches: put your department and squad in the top arc, replace the motto lines with your own, or redraw the dog from a photo of your actual K9 partner. This page shows a design concept we manufacture to order — your stitch-ready proof arrives 6–12 hours after you order, and nothing is produced until you approve it.

Malinois K9 squad patch questions
Can you redraw the dog to look like our own K9?
Yes. Send a clear side or three-quarter photo of your dog and we redraw the head, coat and harness to match at no art charge. The mockup shows your partner on the star before production.
Can we switch the Malinois to a German shepherd or Lab?
Yes. The star, keys and paw print stay, and the dog redraws to whichever breed your squad works. Many squads order one run per breed in a single quote.
Will this oval fit on a K9 vest?
At 3" wide it fits most vest loop panels. Order hook-side velcro for vests and sew-on for handler shirts in the same quote.
Can the motto lines be removed?
Yes. Drop them to give the dog more room, or replace them with your squad number or call sign. The arc and the K9 mark stay readable either way.
How do I mark changes on this design?
Open the markup tool in the quote form, circle the dog or lettering, add numbered notes and preview subdued colorways. Your marked version is attached to the quote request.
