Police Panther K9 Patch — Order This Scales of Justice Star
Design S1583A at a glance
A navy star with a gold merrowed edge, its center held by a black panther head with scales of justice. Three lettering lines carry a squad name, a rescue and K-9 line and an established year in gold, and the black cat on navy gives the patch a sleek, unmistakable profile.

About this black panther and scales of justice police star design
Squads choose a panther for its stealth and focus, and pairing it with scales of justice keeps the emblem grounded in the law it serves. The black cat set against a navy field gives a dark, controlled look, while gold lettering and merrowing lift it enough for dress use. The rescue and K-9 line marks it as a specialty unit rather than general patrol.
Customize it before stitching: set your squad name and roles in the lettering, change the established year, or swap the panther for your team’s own animal. This page shows a design concept we manufacture to order — your stitch-ready proof arrives 6–12 hours after you order, and nothing is produced until you approve it.

Police panther K9 patch questions
Will a black panther show up on a navy field?
Yes. We outline the panther in a contrasting thread so its shape reads clearly; the proof shows exactly how it stitches.
Can the rescue and K-9 line name other roles?
Yes. That line restitches to any short role list — tactical, search, K-9 — as do the squad name and year.
Can the panther be replaced with our dog?
Yes. Send a photo of your K9 and we redraw it with the scales at no art charge.
Is there a subdued version?
Yes. Black and grey, or tan and brown, versions work well for vests; quote them alongside the full-color run.
How do I request changes to this star?
Use the markup tool in the quote form: circle the panther or scales, pin notes on the lettering and preview a colorway. The marked version goes with your quote.
