German Shepherd Police Patch — Order This K9 Crossed Batons Starburst
Design S0789A at a glance
A navy starburst with a navy edge, centered on a K9 German shepherd with crossed batons. Gold and white bring the dog and batons forward, and four lettering fields hold a K9 services unit name, a police department line, a founding year and a motto. All four restitch to your agency, and the shepherd can redraw as your own dog's breed.

About this shepherd and crossed batons starburst
The starburst gives this K9 patch the silhouette of a police badge, and the crossed batons paired with the shepherd link the dog to the officer. It's a cleaner composition than most canine designs — one dog, one tool pairing, no background clutter — so it holds up at handler-vest sizes. The tonal navy edge lets the starburst points do the framing.
Adapt it before ordering: name your K9 unit and department in the lettering, update the founding year, swap the motto, or redraw the shepherd as a Malinois, Lab or bloodhound. This page shows a design concept we manufacture to order — your stitch-ready proof arrives 6–12 hours after you order, and nothing is produced until you approve it.

German shepherd police patch questions
Can the shepherd be redrawn as our own dog?
Yes. Send a clear photo of your K9 and we redraw the dog's markings and breed at no art charge — a popular choice for retirements and memorials.
Can we order harness-size patches too?
Yes. 2" to 3" versions with hook velcro fit most K9 harness panels and can ride on the same quote.
Can the K9 unit name and motto be changed?
Yes. All four lettering fields restitch to your wording, and the proof shows each one set.
Is there a subdued version?
Yes. Tan, OD green and wolf gray builds keep the shepherd and batons visible while matching tactical kit.
How do I request changes to this design?
Use the "mark up this design" tool in the quote form: circle the shepherd, pin notes on the unit line, switch colorways. Your marked-up version attaches to the quote automatically.
