This metal badge features the Converse Police Department insignia, serving the city of Converse, Texas, on the northeast side of San Antonio in Bexar County. It is an oval badge struck in polished gold with a laurel border, built around a Texas map filled with the state flag and laid over a large gold star, with a locomotive, a jet and an open book worked into the field around it.
