Description
The Lumberton Police Department serves the largest city in Hardin County, a fast-growing community on the edge of the Big Thicket just north of Beaumont in Southeast Texas. Its badge takes the classic eagle-topped shield and strikes it entirely in polished gold, letting sculpted relief do all the work without a drop of enamel.
Shape and Base: The shield rises to a sculpted eagle with wings spread across the crown, a small five-point star set in the ray field just beneath it. Laurel wreath branches climb both edges, and a machined sunburst fills the ground behind the banner stack.
