Description
This Missouri embroidered patch was custom designed for the Audrain County Sheriff in Missouri, featuring a classic ceremonial layout with the full color Missouri state seal centered inside a golden laurel wreath and framed by dual scroll banners on a rich brown twill base.
Shape & Base: Custom shield with arched shoulders, tapered sides, and a flat bottom, built on a solid brown twill base and outlined with a bright gold merrowed border that traces the full perimeter and frames the design with a clean formal edge.
Top Section: A curved gold scroll banner stretches across the top of the shield with rolled ends and “SHERIFF” stitched across its face in bold gold block lettering with subtle outline detail, anchoring the agency identification at the head of the patch.
Center: The full color Missouri state seal sits at the center of the shield inside a blue circular field, showing two rampant grizzly bears flanking a quartered heraldic shield with red and white panels, surmounted by an arched ribbon and decorative scrollwork, with “STATE OF” arched across the top of the seal and “MISSOURI” curving along the bottom in gold lettering. Two large golden laurel wreath branches arch outward from beneath the seal on either side, forming a traditional ceremonial frame that fills the body of the shield.
Bottom Section: A second gold scroll banner with rolled ends curves across the lower portion of the shield reading “AUDRAIN” in bold gold block lettering with outline detail matching the top banner, completing the full county and agency identification of the patch.
Embroidery Quality: Dense satin stitching delivers crisp edges on the laurel wreath leaves and clean lettering definition across both scroll banners, while the central state seal uses fine detail work and multi-tonal thread blending across the bears, shield panels, ribbon, and scrollwork to capture the intricate heraldry. The gold merrowed border is tight and uniform throughout, and the brown twill base provides warm contrast that makes the gold wreath, banners, and full color seal stand out clearly.
This design represents premium custom embroidery honoring Missouri law enforcement tradition and the heritage of Audrain County.
