The Pearland Police Department serves one of the fastest-growing cities in the Houston region, a suburb in northern Brazoria County along SH 288, bordered by Friendswood, Manvel, and the south side of Houston. Its officer badge is a commemorative piece, flanked by the years 1960 and 2010 — a fifty-year span marked in the metal.
Shape and Base: The badge is a silver oval ringed by a border of small raised stars, with sunburst rays behind the center. OFFICER arcs the crown on a silver ribbon in black letters, and the dates 1960 and 2010 sit on either side of the ribbon.
Center Design: A large silver five-point star spans the field, and at its heart sits a full-color seal ringed STATE OF TEXAS around a landscape scene — a Texas map, trees, a building, and open fields. The United States and Texas flags spread in full enamel from behind the star at either side.
