Description
This Presidio County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the office’s shoulder emblem for the county whose seat is Marfa. Created in 1850 from Bexar County and organized in 1875, the county is named for Presidio del Norte, an eighteenth-century border fort at what is now Ojinaga, Mexico. A gold star-in-ring badge with a teal center, set over a brown Texas map, fills the center of this tan shield.
Shape and Border: The patch is a shield with rounded top corners and sides that taper to a point at the base, finished with a gold merrowed edge.
Center Design: A wide gold ring surrounds a gold five-point star, with an inner gold arc and two gold leaf sprays behind it. At the star’s center, a teal disc holds a small gold star, and the badge sits over a brown Texas map with a dark outline.
Lettering: SHERIFF’S arches across the top and OFFICE runs along the bottom in dark brown block letters. PRESIDIO and COUNTY wrap the gold ring in dark brown, with a small dark brown star on each side.
Color and Thread: The gold badge and border stand out against the tan background and brown map, while the teal center adds a single cool accent and the dark brown lettering keeps the design easy to read.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For a department in a neighboring county, see the Brewster County Sheriff badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
