Description
This Schleicher County Sheriff’s Department patch recreates the department’s shoulder emblem for the Edwards Plateau county whose seat is Eldorado. Created from Crockett County in 1887, the county is named for Gustav Schleicher, a German immigrant who became a surveyor and politician. A green eagle swooping over a flag-colored Texas map fills the center of this navy shield.
Shape and Border: The patch is a shield with a gently arched top, rounded upper corners, and sides that taper to a point at the base, finished with a gold merrowed edge.
Center Design: A Texas map in flag colors, outlined in black, fills the middle of the shield, with blue across the west and the Panhandle, white across the upper east, and red across the lower east. A green eagle with a white head, yellow beak, and white tail feathers swoops down to the left across the map, its wings raised and its talons reaching forward.
Lettering: SHERIFF and DEPARTMENT are stacked across the top in gold block letters, with a gold five-point star on each side of SHERIFF. SCHLEICHER and COUNTY are stacked below the map in matching gold.
Color and Thread: Gold lettering and edging stand out on the navy background, while the red, white, and blue map and the bright green eagle give the center its color.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For a department in a neighboring county, see the Crockett County Sheriff badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
