It is an eagle-top shield badge struck in polished gold, with white enamel banners and a blue enamel seal at its center.
Shape & Base: The badge is die-struck as a shield with rounded shoulders tapering to a point at the base, and a spread-wing eagle is struck across the top as a crown. Laurel relief runs down both sides of the shield, and fluted ribbing fills the field behind the banners.
Center: A circular blue enamel disc sits at the middle of the shield, holding a gold star framed by a full gold laurel wreath. There is no lettering ring around the disc, so the blue reads as a plain field with the wreathed star alone at its center.
