Description
This Maverick County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the office’s shoulder emblem for the county whose seat is Eagle Pass, across the border from Piedras Negras, Coahuila. Created from Kinney County in 1856 and organized in 1871, the county is named for cattleman and legislator Samuel A. Maverick. A white-edged Texas map in flag colors fills the center of this black shield.
Shape and Border: The patch is a shield whose top edge rises to a gentle rounded peak at the center between square shoulders, tapering to a point at the base, and it is finished with a gold merrowed border.
Center Design: A large Texas map in the colors of the state flag, blue on the west and white over red on the east, is outlined in white against the black field. A small gold five-point star sits near the southwestern edge of the map.
Lettering: SHERIFF runs across the top in gold block letters. MAVERICK runs diagonally down the lower left side and COUNTY up the lower right side, both in gold.
Color and Thread: Gold lettering and the red, white, and blue map stand out sharply against the black twill, giving the patch a clean, high-contrast look.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For a department in the same county, see the Eagle Pass Police badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
