K9 Task Force Hexagon Patch — Order This Desert Shepherd Design
Design S1778A at a glance
A six-sided cut with a tan merrowed edge, framing a German shepherd head set in front of desert hills with a river running through them. Three lettering lines carry a unit name, a border unit designation and a K9 task force line. The navy, tan and brown palette fits arid terrain and pairs naturally with tan field uniforms.

About this desert K9 task force hexagon design
Desert-country canine teams spend their shifts on dirt roads, washes and riverbanks, and this hexagon puts that ground right behind the dog. The shepherd faces forward with the hills and river layered behind, so the patch tells you where the team works as well as what it does. The hexagon outline is a practical choice too: its flat top and bottom edges sit squarely on a shoulder and line up neatly on velcro fields.
Order it as shown or tailor it: rename the three lines for your own unit and task force, swap the river for a canyon or mesa, or recolor the field to OD green for a different uniform. This page shows a design concept we manufacture to order — your stitch-ready proof arrives 6–12 hours after you order, and nothing is produced until you approve it.

Who orders this design
Canine teams on rural and border-area task forces order this hexagon for field uniforms, carriers and K9 vehicle kits. Multi-agency groups like it because the lettering lines can hold both a team name and the task force title. Handlers also order small runs for training vests and for patch trading with other units.

K9 task force hexagon patch questions
Can the three lettering lines carry our task force name?
Yes. The top, middle and bottom lines all restitch to your wording, whether that is a team name, region, task force title or unit number.
Can the desert scene change to match our area?
Yes. We can redraw the hills and river as mountains, canyon walls or farmland so the patch matches the ground your team covers.
Is this design good for plate carriers?
Yes. The earth-tone palette is already low-key, and a hook-backed hexagon at 3.5 inches fits most carrier velcro fields.
Can you make a one-color subdued version?
Yes. Single-thread coyote, OD green or blackout versions stitch cleanly; preview the colorway in the markup tool before you request a quote.
How many patches do we need to order?
The minimum is 10 patches. Multi-agency task forces often combine member departments into one larger order to reach a lower per-patch price.
