Description
This Briscoe County Sheriff’s Department patch recreates the department’s shoulder emblem for the Texas Panhandle county whose seat is Silverton, along the edge of the Caprock. Its centerpiece is a full-color landscape scene with a stately columned building, framed by gold lettering on a brown shield.
Shape and Border: The patch is a shield with a flat top, rounded upper corners, and sides that curve to a point at the base, finished with a gold merrowed border around a dark brown field.
Center Design: A band of blue sky stretches across the middle of the patch behind a two-story tan building with a columned entrance, rows of tall windows, and a raised center section. Green lawns spread out in front, a brown walkway leads up to the entrance, and a leafy green tree stands at each side. A small round seal at the top center shows a gold star inside a green wreath on blue.
Lettering: BRISCOE COUNTY arches across the top in gold block letters on either side of the small seal, with SHERIFF’S DEPT. in gold just below. EST. and 1892 sit in gold beneath the scene near the base.
Color and Thread: Brown and gold frame the design, while the sky blue, lawn green, and soft tan of the building bring the center scene to life — a warm, detailed layout that reads like a small embroidered picture.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For the metal version from the same department, see the Briscoe County Sheriff badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order a custom patch like this Briscoe County Sheriff’s Department design?
Yes. Owl Badges embroiders custom patches to match this Briscoe County Sheriff’s Department design, including its full building scene, or adjusted to your own agency name, colors, and size. You receive a free digital proof before production begins.
Can you embroider a building or landmark from our county?
Yes. Send a photo or drawing and our artwork team will digitize the building with its windows, columns, and roofline, then set it into a scene with sky, lawn, and trees like this one or on a plain background.
How much detail can a scene like this hold?
Fine details such as window panes, columns, and leaf texture hold up well at standard shoulder patch sizes. Very small elements may be simplified slightly on the proof so they stay sharp once stitched.
What does a detailed patch like this cost?
Estimated pricing runs from about $17 each at 10 pieces down to roughly $2 each at 1,000 pieces, with no setup fee. Size, stitch count, and quantity set the final price, which is confirmed with a free quote.
How long does production take?
Plan on about three to six weeks after proof approval for digitizing the scene, embroidery, merrowed edging, and backing.
Do I need credentials to order a Briscoe County Sheriff’s Department patch with the real agency name?
Yes. Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. Fictional or fully customized designs with your own name are welcome without that step.
