Description
This Childress County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the department’s shoulder emblem for the Texas Panhandle county whose seat is the city of Childress. It sets a large round county seal, dated 1888, on a black shield with white lettering above and below.
Shape and Border: The patch is a black shield with an arched top, squared shoulders, and sides that taper slightly to a flat base with rounded corners, finished with a gold merrowed border around the full edge.
Center Design: A large round seal fills the middle of the shield. A gold outer ring frames a silver-gray band, and inside it a red ring surrounds a blue disc. At the center of the disc, a white five-point star sits within a green wreath.
Lettering: SHERIFF arches across the top of the shield and OFFICE runs straight across the bottom, both in white block letters. The silver-gray band reads CHILDRESS across the top and COUNTY along the bottom in black, with EST. on the left and 1888 on the right, and the blue disc carries STATE OF above the star and TEXAS below it in white.
Color and Thread: Black and white keep the shield crisp and easy to read, while the gold border and ring, the red and blue inner seal, and the green wreath give the center its color.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For the metal version from the same department, see the Childress County Sheriff badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
