Shape & Base: A five-point star is die-struck in polished gold and set inside a circular ring, with rounded ball tips finishing each of the five points and a matching ball finial at the top of the ring. A laurel spray fans across the base of the ring beneath the two lower star points, and the star arms carry a raised edge that follows each point out to its tip.
Center: A circular seal sits at the heart of the star, built as a red enamel ring carrying STATE OF across the top and TEXAS across the bottom in white lettering. Inside it, a blue enamel disc holds a single large white five-point star, set plain without a surrounding wreath.
