Description
This Lynn County Sheriff’s Department patch recreates the department’s shoulder emblem for the county whose seat is Tahoka. Created from Bexar County in 1876 and organized in 1903, the county also includes New Home, O’Donnell, and Wilson. A flag-colored Texas map over a navy star, ringed by four animal figures, fills this tan shield.
Shape and Border: The patch is a shield with a gently arched top and sides that taper to a rounded base, finished with a tan merrowed border.
Center Design: A large navy five-point star outlined in gold carries a Texas map in the colors of the state flag, with a white star in a white ring on the blue section and white over red on the east. Four animal figures sit around the star: a rearing navy horse with a red mane at upper left, a white big cat at upper right, a red animal at lower left, and a black eagle at lower right.
Lettering: LYNN COUNTY arches across the top in navy block letters, and SHERIFF and DEPARTMENT are stacked in navy block letters at the base.
Color and Thread: Navy, red, white, and gold on a tan field give the patch a bright, full-color center against a light, neutral background.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For a neighboring county design, see the Lubbock County Sheriff patch.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order a custom patch like this Lynn County Sheriff’s Department design?
Yes. Owl Badges embroiders custom patches to match this Lynn County Sheriff’s Department design, including the navy star, flag-colored Texas map, and four animal figures, or adjusted to your own agency name, colors, and size. You receive a free digital proof before production begins.
Can four small figures be placed around a center star?
Yes. Small figures can sit in the open spaces between a star’s points, as a rearing horse, a white big cat, a red animal, and a black eagle surround the navy star here.
Can SHERIFF and DEPARTMENT be stacked on two lines at the base?
Yes. The agency title can move to the bottom of the patch, as SHERIFF and DEPARTMENT are stacked in navy block letters below the star here, leaving LYNN COUNTY on its own across the top.
What does a sheriff patch like this cost?
Estimated pricing starts at about $17 each at 10 pieces and drops to roughly $2 each at 1,000 pieces, with no setup fee. Final pricing depends on size, stitch count, and quantity, and is confirmed with a free quote.
How long does production take for a patch like the Lynn County design?
Production typically takes about three to six weeks after proof approval, covering digitizing, embroidery, merrowed edging, and backing. Your proof is confirmed before stitching starts.
Do I need credentials to order a Lynn County Sheriff’s Department patch with the real agency name?
Yes. Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. Fictional or fully customized designs with your own name are welcome without that step.
