Shape & Base: A seven-point star is die-struck in polished gold, set point-up, with engraved leaf and scroll ornament filling every arm out toward the tips. A raised ring frames the center, and a banner crosses the base beneath it.
Center: A brushed gold disc sits at the heart of the star, carrying the outline of Texas filled with the state flag rather than struck in plain metal. The blue canton and its gold star sit at the left, with the white and red bands running across to the right, and the city name is set over the map in red script above a white band reading POLICE.
