Description
This Collin County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the department’s shoulder emblem for the North Texas county north of Dallas whose seat is McKinney and whose cities include Plano and Allen. It centers a gold sheriff’s star with light blue scrolls on a navy shield.
Shape and Border: The patch is a navy shield with an arched top, rounded shoulders, and sides that curve in to a rounded base, finished with a gold merrowed border around the full edge.
Center Design: A large gold five-point star with ball tips fills the lower half of the shield. Two light blue scroll banners cross its upper and lower arms, and between them sits a round seal: a navy ring with three small white stars along its lower edge surrounds a light blue disc holding a gold five-point star in a green wreath.
Lettering: SHERIFF arches across the top of the shield in large gold block letters, with COLLIN COUNTY arched in gold beneath it. The upper scroll reads SHERIFF’S and the lower scroll reads OFFICE in navy, and THE STATE OF TEXAS runs around the navy ring in white.
Color and Thread: Navy and gold set a classic law enforcement scheme, while the light blue scrolls and center disc and the green wreath add a softer accent that keeps the star easy to read.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For the metal version from the same department, see the Collin County Sheriff badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order a custom patch like this Collin County Sheriff’s Office design?
Yes. Owl Badges embroiders custom patches to match this Collin County Sheriff’s Office design, including the gold star with its light blue scrolls, or adjusted to your own agency name, colors, and size. You receive a free digital proof before production begins.
Can the scrolls on the star be stitched in a different color?
Yes. The scroll banners can be stitched in any thread color, such as the light blue used here, so they stand apart from the star and the background while the lettering stays easy to read.
Can a matching patch be made for a constable or another division?
Yes. The same layout can be adapted for a constable precinct, a detention division, or another unit by changing the title above the star and the words on the scrolls, while keeping the colors consistent across the department.
What does a sheriff patch like this cost?
Estimated pricing starts at about $17 each at 10 pieces and drops to roughly $2 each at 1,000 pieces, with no setup fee. Final pricing depends on size, stitch count, and quantity, and is confirmed with a free quote.
How long does production take for a patch like the Collin County design?
Production typically takes about three to six weeks after proof approval, covering digitizing, embroidery, merrowed edging, and backing. Your proof is confirmed before stitching starts.
Do I need credentials to order a Collin County Sheriff’s Office patch with the real agency name?
Yes. Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. Fictional or fully customized designs with your own name are welcome without that step.
