This Hutchinson County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the department’s shoulder emblem for the northern Texas Panhandle county whose seat is Stinnett and whose largest city is Borger, a county that grew quickly after the Panhandle oil discoveries of the 1920s. A large gold star with the letters of TEXAS set between its points sits on a navy shield.
