Description
This Jack County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the department’s shoulder emblem for the North Central Texas ranching county whose seat is Jacksboro, created in 1856 and named for brothers Patrick Churchill Jack and William Houston Jack. A silver ring framing a gold six-point star sits on a Texas map in flag colors, above Est. 1856, JACK COUNTY, and TEXAS in gold.
Shape and Border: The patch is a black shield with an arched top and rounded upper corners, and its sides taper to a point at the base. A black merrowed border runs around the full edge, with a white band just inside it.
Center Design: A Texas map fills the upper middle in the colors of the state flag, with blue in the west and white over red in the east. Over it sits a silver ring around a gold six-point star with ball tips, white scrolls across its upper arms, and a red ring at its center around a small blue disc with a white star.
Lettering: SHERIFF arches across the top in gold block letters. Below the map, Est. 1856 sits in gold, followed by JACK COUNTY arched in larger gold letters and TEXAS beneath it.
Color and Thread: Black, white, and gold frame the design, while the red, white, and blue map and the red and blue center of the star add color at the heart of the patch.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For a department in the same county, see the Jack County Constable badge.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order a custom patch like this Jack County Sheriff’s Office design?
Yes. Owl Badges embroiders custom patches to match this Jack County Sheriff’s Office design, including the silver ring and gold six-point star over the Texas flag map, or adjusted to your own agency name, colors, and size. You receive a free digital proof before production begins.
Can a star and ring be stitched over a Texas map?
Yes. A star framed by a ring can be stitched on top of a map, as the silver ring and ball-tipped star sit over the flag-colored Texas map here. The ring separates the star from the map so both stay easy to read.
Can a patch include an established date?
Yes. A founding or establishment year can be stitched as a small line of text, as Est. 1856 sits above the county name here. The smaller lettering keeps the date readable without competing with JACK COUNTY below it.
What does a sheriff patch like this cost?
Estimated pricing starts at about $17 each at 10 pieces and drops to roughly $2 each at 1,000 pieces, with no setup fee. Final pricing depends on size, stitch count, and quantity, and is confirmed with a free quote.
How long does production take for a patch like the Jack County design?
Production typically takes about three to six weeks after proof approval, covering digitizing, embroidery, merrowed edging, and backing. Your proof is confirmed before stitching starts.
Do I need credentials to order a Jack County Sheriff’s Office patch with the real agency name?
Yes. Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. Fictional or fully customized designs with your own name are welcome without that step.
