Shape & Base: The badge is a silver shield with an ornate scrollwork frame. A large spread-winged eagle perches across the top, its wings sweeping down over the curled edges of the shield body. The whole piece is die-struck in polished silver, with the banners and central seal raised against the scrollwork.
Center: A round full-color Kansas state seal sits at the heart of the badge.
