Description
This Knox County Sheriff’s Office patch recreates the department’s shoulder emblem for the rural county whose seat is Benjamin and whose largest city is Munday. Created in 1858 and organized in 1886, the county is named for Henry Knox, a general of the American Revolutionary War. A gold star with light blue banners and a State of Texas seal sits on a black field.
Shape and Border: The patch has an arched top with rounded upper corners, straight sides, and a rounded base. A gold merrowed border runs around the full edge.
Center Design: A gold five-point star with ball tips fills the middle of the patch, crossed by light blue ribbon banners near the top and bottom. At its center, a red-rimmed royal blue ring holds three small white stars at its base, and inside a red inner ring a light blue disc shows a white star framed by a green wreath with red berries, tied at the bottom with a red bow.
Lettering: SHERIFF runs across the top in large gold block letters, with KNOX and COUNTY in smaller gold letters on either side of the top point of the star. The banners read SHERIFF’S and OFFICE in gold, and the seal ring reads STATE OF TEXAS in white.
Color and Thread: Gold, light blue, and royal blue stand out against the black twill, while the red rims, berries, and bow add small touches of color at the center of the seal.
Finish Quality: Each patch is embroidered with full-coverage stitching on polyester twill, finished with a merrowed edge, and offered with iron-on or sew-on backing. For a neighboring county design, see the Baylor County Sheriff patch.

🛡 Authorized Purchase & Credential Verification
Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers must provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. We do not sell agency-named patches for personal use.
Custom and fictional designs — for example, a made-up department like “Town of Western Hope Police” — are welcome, as are designs where you change the agency or department name to your own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order a custom patch like this Knox County Sheriff’s Office design?
Yes. Owl Badges embroiders custom patches to match this Knox County Sheriff’s Office design, including the bow-tied wreath, three-star seal, and light blue banners, or adjusted to your own agency name, colors, and size. You receive a free digital proof before production begins.
Can small details like berries and a bow be stitched into a wreath?
Yes. Fine details can be picked out in a second color, as the red berries and the red bow tying the green wreath are here, even at the small size of a seal center.
Can a county name be split on either side of a star point?
Yes. Lettering can wrap around a design element, as KNOX and COUNTY sit on either side of the top point of the star here, under SHERIFF in larger gold letters.
What does a sheriff patch like this cost?
Estimated pricing starts at about $17 each at 10 pieces and drops to roughly $2 each at 1,000 pieces, with no setup fee. Final pricing depends on size, stitch count, and quantity, and is confirmed with a free quote.
How long does production take for a patch like the Knox County design?
Production typically takes about three to six weeks after proof approval, covering digitizing, embroidery, merrowed edging, and backing. Your proof is confirmed before stitching starts.
Do I need credentials to order a Knox County Sheriff’s Office patch with the real agency name?
Yes. Patches bearing a real agency or department name are sold only to that agency or its authorized representatives. Law enforcement and public-safety buyers provide proof of occupation, valid credentials, or an authorized purchasing letter before production begins. Fictional or fully customized designs with your own name are welcome without that step.
